Q: What is the purpose/importance of the Corporate Transient Account Survey?
A: This information will supply our Corporate Transient Sales Team critical information/insight that is required by the Travel Decision Makers in order for your hotel to be considered in the solicitation process for our key Managed and Monitored accounts.

Q: Who from my property should complete the Corporate Transient Account Survey?
A: The survey should be completed by all sales representatives responsible for the Corporate Transient Market for their property.

Q: What does the PHG Team do with this information?
A: The PHG Sales Team utilizes the information as one of their key tools when nominating hotels for RFP bid inclusion. They present this information to the Travel Decision Makers during Pre-RFP one on one meetings.

Q: What happens if I don't submit the survey?
A: Your property will miss out on target account opportunities to be reviewed by Corporate Travel Decision Makers from major corporations.

Q: What if I complete the survey incorrectly?
A: The assigned PHG Regional Contact i.e. Sales and/or Area Managing Director/Regional Director will return the survey to you indicating the information is incomplete and will highlight the items that need to be addressed. NOTE: The Survey will not be submitted to the client if incomplete or not filled out correctly.

Q: How will I know if my hotel has been invited to participate in the bidding process?
A: If your hotel has been solicited, you will receive an invitation from a PHG Sales representative asking you to complete and submit the RFP via Lanyon or another RFP tool.

Q: How will I know if I have not been invited to participate in the bidding process?
A: If your hotel has not been solicited, you will not receive an invitation to bid on their corporate travel program.

Q: What do I need to know in order to prepare for RFP Season?
A: Please review the "RFP Preparation Checklist Document".
